Again the day started with breakfast in Ocean Drive. We then as a group took part in the Canterbury Centre Grand Prix (aka Go Carting!), some went around as a two and others on their own, but everybody had fun!
Then we conquered the Climbing Wall, which again everybody enjoyed.
Some of the group then went on the Mexican Hat ride, whilst others tackled the Dodgems. Lunch followed.
A rematch of the Crazy Golf then took place, Mark and Peter our joint winners. A quick break then on to dinner in Ocean Drive.
The entertainment for our final night is a good old Pantomime, Snow White. Then follows the Jersey Boys show later on.
Thankfully we woke up to better weather this morning, so it was straight into Ocean Drive for breakfast. It is Chris’s birthday today so he opened his cards over breakfast and we all wished him happy birthday!
Then some of us headed into the pools, with others splitting up and exploring Bognor Regis town. A couple even did a Salsa dancing activity which was lots of fun.
We all met back together for lunch in the Beachcomber restaurant, with Doreen having the biggest fish finger sandwich ever!
This afternoon some of the group went back to the pools, and had the rapids to themselves. Some were quite tired so had a rest.
Tonight we have just had dinner in Ocean Drive, and of course birthday cake for Chris!
Tonight’s entertainment is a magic show, followed by an Ed Sheeran tribute act.
Started this morning with a lovely breakfast, a selection from full English to continental so everybody enjoyed it! The weather took a turn for the worst so we went swimming in Butlins’ new £42 million Splash centre. Everybody really enjoyed the many pools, and not forgetting the Rapids ride.
Then it was lunch, followed by a round of crazy golf. We split into 2 teams, Boys V Girls, and the girls won! Unfortunately the heavens really opened then so the group split, with some visiting the ice cream parlour and others going for a coffee.
Tonight we just had dinner in Ocean Drive, again a great choice of foods. Our entertainment for tonight is the Paddington Bear show, followed by an ABBA show so still lots to look forward to!
Arrived safely today, having all taken different routes down (some more scenic than others!). Found our rooms in the Oyster Bay accommodation after getting a little bit lost, but we all love our rooms.
Our restaurant for the week is Ocean Drive, and they do a whole rename of food types each night, from Lasagne to Curry, so there was something for everyone.
Evening entertainment was Little Mix, winners of the X Factor, followed by an excellent Elton John tribute act (very bad pictures below!)
