Support from Tom's Guildford, Godalming and Farnham Rock Choir Community

A big thank-you to the "Tom's Guildford, Godalming and Farnham Rock Choir Community" group on Facebook who chose to support us last week as their "Charity of the Week".

We all love a sing-song at the Centre, and so do their 440 strong membership on Facebook. The Rock choir community shared information about what we do and who we are for, throughout the group. This hopefully spread the word to people that have never come across us before. We are sure that the group has been great fun for members and particularly active during lockdown, singing to bring joy during difficult times.

Thank you again for your support, and you are welcome to pop in to the Centre and have a sing with us any time after we re-open!

National Volunteers Week 2020 - Thank You to All Our Wonderful Volunteers

It’s National Volunteers Week, a week celebrating the fantastic work done by everyone who volunteers in this country.

It’s no secret that without our wonderful volunteers, the Canterbury Care Centre could not exist. We are truly thankful for the work done by each and every one of our volunteers; from drivers to musicians, sandwich makers to artists. You play a key part in making the Centre the lovely place it is!

We also say thank you to our wonderful community partners who give their time to support us, especially Jane and Brian at The Keep.

We can’t wait to be together again once it’s safe.
